iCash - On-Line Bookkeeping
Developed by IRIS Software, the highly respected accountancy software house, this service will revolutionise the way accounting records will be kept by clients in the future. The system allows us to check our client's books as they are written up and to identify and correct errors at an early stage, thus giving them the confidence that their records are being correctly maintained. As the accounts are up-to-date, we can be more proactive in advising them on financial and tax matters. At present the system deals with bank accounts, including reconciliations, petty cash and credit card expenditure, VAT and income and expenditure analysis as well as producing graphs to show where the money comes from and where it goes to. Full sales ledger and purchase ledger systems will be introduced in the future. Specially designed screens, which resemble an on-line version of a bank statement, make entering transactions easy. We define the account structure and codes for the client's individual business, which reduces the chance of incorrect postings. A further benefit is the ability to use the system from the client's home or office - in fact, anywhere there is an internet connection for a computer. Therefore, clients are able to access their financial reports and statements online, 24 hours a day.
